General Application

The IMPAC MODEL 6150 IMPELLER packer has been designed for filling fine powdered products such as cement, talc, clay, grout, and similar products into valve bags. The machine is fitted with a fluidizing feed hopper which feeds powder to the impeller vanes which, in turn, pump the powder into the bag.

Features

• Framework is structural steel tubing. All mechanisms are easily accessed for service.
• Impeller Hopper is of unique design employing a four vane rotary impeller running within a 10 inch diameter circular casing.
• The impeller is fed from the top segment of the casing from sloped infeed hopper sides which load the impeller as it roates. These sides are fitted with fluidizing pads to ensure maximum feed to the impeller.
• The impeller is shaft mounted from one side using a bearing casing to ensure proper alignment. The shaft is driven from one side by means of a 7-1/2 HP TEFC electric motor.
